    The Rigveda is the oldest of the four Vedas and among humanity's earliest religious texts. Composed between 1500-1200 BCE, it contains 1,028 hymns (suktas) organized into 10 mandalas, dedicated to various deities including Agni, Indra, Varuna, and Soma.
